A walk to Mt Abrupt meet at 10.30 AM at the Mt Abrupt car park which is on the south eastern side of the Grampians to Dunkeld Rd about 4 to 5 km from the Victoria Valley Rd. It is a small not very obvious car park on the opposite side of the rd to where the walk starts.
Wear sturdy shoes clothes appropriate for the weather, including sunhat sunscreen etc. Bring your own picnic lunch to be eaten at the top or on the way, bring water and if you have them, walking poles.
This walk is graded as hard so some level of fitness is required although people do not have to go all the way to the top. It is essential to let Rodney know if you are intending to join this activity so we do not set off without you.
