FOGG MEETINGS

Saturday September 10, 10 a.m. Waterbugs activity with Joel Boyd of the Wimmera CMA. Meet at the Tennis Courts beside the school in Halls Gap. After the activity we’ll adjourn for lunch in the Brambuk cafe and have our AGM there. Contact Margo 5356 4524.

Wednesday November 16 Mural Room 5.30 pm. Meeting with Ryan Duffy to learn about the priority components of our natural and cultural values program in the coming year. It is hoped that FOGG may be able to assist in this work. We may also hear about the results of the post Mt Lubra fire small mammal monitoring within the Grampians, if the student involved has done the final report by then. Followed by a meal together. FOGG DATES FOR THIS QUARTER:
Saturday July 16: Note change of date!
Fungi Frolic in the Wartook valley. Meet at the Wander Inn at 10 a.m. Then we’ll car pool from there to sites. Return to the Inn to buy our own lunch and look at some specimens, while warm and dry. Last year it was a wild and woolly day but the indoor session was excellent. Please bring any interesting specimens from your place as well. Contact: Ewen Johnson 5383 6294.

Field trip along Silverband Road to discuss the newly exposed rock and mineral profiles / and to look at an on ground example of a landslide
I suggest we car pool up Silverband Road to the old Silverband Falls car park and walk up from there. For anyone who may not be able to walk up hill can go in a Parks Victoria car to the site.

Changes will be emailed to those who have provided us with a current address and also put up on the website. But please also ring the listed contact person to find when it is on and to let them know you are coming.
